Do you need a vtec ecu to use one of these or can you use it with a non-vtec ecu to control the vtec engagment points. Plan on doing a ls\vtec with a automatic tranny and am haveing a hard time finding a ecu to use.
You don’t need that crap (even if you did, you would use the MSD RPM activator switch). Get a Pr3 auto obd-0 ECU (if you are a 90-91 model), or a P73 auto obd-1 ECU (if you are a 92-93 model). Or you can use the obd-1 del sol DOHC auto ECU. These ECUs run about $75-$150 to your door.
