Spring goes "TING" then falls out 3 days later from clutch pedal

Curious what this spring does, it’s a rather larger spring? Coiled into a roll.

Is it to make the clutch easier to push? I have no idea how the clutch pedal in our cars work, if anyone knows, thanks, and I don’t wanna end up stranded, i haven’t suffered any issues from driving it yet.

It simply sheared off on one end.

Its to help pull back on the clutch pedal,not a big deal but you should replace it.

Thanks, is there a honda part number for it or will I need a new clutch pedal assembly?
