I have Black 92 GS I am in the process of purchasing some 17 inch Konig “rated r” wheels. I am planning on running a 215/40/17 tire. I know the car will look a lot lot better if I also put a set of Eibech “Pro Kit” springs all the way around at the same time I put the wheels on. My only problem is the Pro Kit does not lower the car that much, but is it enough to throw caster/camber off front and or rear? My main worry is there looks like there is no place for a correction kit for the rear of these teg’s. Is any body running a set of eibech pro-kits out there without having to correct caster/camber ??? please help!
first off i’d lower it a bit more. Especially with such large wheels.
second, there are plenty of camber kits out there (yes, for both front and back). But buying one for the rear is basically a waste of money. Why spend $50-$150 for a rear camber kit when you can drive down to the hardware store, spend about $10 on high quality high grade bolts and washers.
read the teg tips section on correcting rear camber with washers. It works really well and is very safe as long as you use the proper grade materials. (i have my rear camber corrected this way so i know first hand how easy and cheap it is, as well as how well it works).
oh, and the konig rated R’s are gonna look sic on your car! One of my good friends has a blue 92 teg with 17" white rated r’s, they look awesome. Personally i think they are too big and too heavy, but man they look good.
I know a few kids running pro kits and to tell you the truth they took them off and sent them back… I havent met one kid that actually liked em… get some 2 inch drop springs with some yellows…
Be careful with a 215 width tire. You really can’t go very low and still get 0° camber w/o rubbing since those are wider than required.
i have 215/40’s on my 92 lowered on neuspring race, i dont have any camber or rubbing problems so i wouldnt worry about it too much

Member Nemisis20 is running 215/40s on his car as well. He has the second gen Weapon-Rs. I asked him if he had any problems running a 215 on his car, and he said he had never had any problems with rubbing, etc.

I had neuspeed sports and my stock 195-60-14s rubbed on the inner fender like hell when racing… your 17’s must have a different offset or something. 215s would have rubbed standing still.
Go lower it will still have gap with the pro kit…and if that is what u want the camber will not be bad at all.
