I just had my timing belt replaced. Ever since them I hear squealing noise when I take off and sometimes in the rain. I think the other belts in that area were changed. what could be the cause of this.

i have been hearing the same thing with my car. whenever i start off wid around 2k rpms and ease off the clutch, the car would make a short whining sound. i am thinking that its my axles sincy my axles are clicking already, mostly on left turns (i think). but i will get them replaced at the end of the month. $240 wid installation, both sides.

Sounds like your alternator or power steering belt or A/C belt is slipping.
Even if they were changed, they could have gotten grease on them, or they weren’t tightened enough. Shouldn’t be too hard to fix!

Yeah, I think your sound is different… does sound like the axles in your case… Make sure they check the wheel bearings while they’re changing the axles too!
tensioner? gotta tighten it maybe? iono
get a belt tension gauge. and check the belt tension on all your belts. match them up with the numbers which are found in the helms manual (search for member xdep, he has the links to download in his signature).
or… run over to your local mechanic and ask him to check all the belts and tighten/loosen belts if they need adjusting.
