Ok this is my problem… about a week ago, my b16a started sqeaking. It’s a rubbery squeak, although it might sound a bit metallic. When I checked it at first it sounded like it was coming from the water pump/timing belt. but now it seems to be sqeaking at the front of the engine by the tranny. It happens only between 3000-3500 rpms and it stops after about 5 min of driving . Anybody have any clue what this is?
Maybe it’s your motor mounts. Double check those.
ok so I got it checked out…it turns out that the one of the covers from the bottom of the header was loose and vibrating…so now it’s ok and didn’t cost me a penny:clap:
