Squeaking noise coming from back right side

hi- i got a squeaking noise coming from the back right side of my teg. It omly squaks when i got over bumps or whenever the suspension in the back right side is moving… any suggestions? its getting kinda annoying
thanks
steve

How ld are your shocks? Do you have an aftermarket bushinds? Camber kits?

i have that same squeaky noise

leave the car running, get out and walk around to the tip(left side).
and kick the tip…just to shake it a bit…and if you hear it louder or you hear it when you kick it then it is the muffler…

same problem i am having…

question.

do you usually only hear it when u accelerate, or hit a bump(that shakes pan)?

later

the shocks have 123,000 miles on them, and havent ever been changed… all the suspensions stock. thanks for the advice chingro ill try out what you said. hmm… ill have to see if i hear it when i accelerate, but i know for sure it makes that noise when i hit a bump.
thanks, steve

possibly the trailing arm bushing… I had this exact same noise, only when going over bumps, I replaced the bushings(Prothane) and the noise is history…

Answer- How hard was it to replace your trailing arm bushings? Where did you find the prothane bushings?

Thanks, Brian

replacing the bushings wasn’r really hard… but time consuming… but be sure to have air tools with you! It took about a day to replace them(that is including having the pushed out by a shop, often breaks and about 1 and a half hour without electricity!)

one thing though, having to replace them again, I wouldn’t even remove the whole trailing arm from the vehicule… the bushings are fairly easy to remove and replace…(I only took a big hammer to remove them) so It would save a lot of hassle!

I bought the bushings at a speed shop here, but i’m pretty sure you could find them at almost any speed shop… I paid $245CDN for them, that is including shipping.

HTH!
