i heard a sqeaking noise coming from the driver’s side front suspension area, upon questioning the boards there was no solution.
once i got it on the hoist and started to shake the vehicle to reproduce the squeak, i discovered that it was simply a bolt that had gone dry and needed to be heavily greased.
this bolt is : where the strut forks attach to the lower control arm. i put grease all over the bolt, nut, and everywhere around where the bolt goes. the bolt is approximately 4 inches long.
you are going to need to jack the vehicle up to pull the bolt out.
the torque for the bolt for reinstallation is 48 foot pounds.
this problem only made an annoying squeaking noise, which you can hear when you drive. there was no other signs.
