"Squeek" between shifting gears (suspension?)

So when I engage the clutch to shift gears, I hear a squeek coming from the front drivers side. It’s not the transmission, it sounds metaly. From what I’ve been able to pick up, it has nothing to do with shifting, but more of the slight lurch made when power to the wheels is removed. Not sure if it makes a difference but my suspension has H&R springs, AGX shocks, Rhino Upper Control arms and radius rods from an accord.

so its happening when you press the clutch? if so may sound like it might be your clutch cable, could be getting old and worn out. i had similar experience and found it was my cable sqeeking cus it was wearing out and stretching the cable.

It’s not the cable, as it was replaced at the beginning of the year… I’ve also noticed that it only occurs at lower speeds (<40 mph).

I’m leaning towards bushings, but which one’s I’m unsure

Its difficult for us to diagnose this without seeing the car. A video could help. The best way would be to jack up the car and pull the wheel off and look around. It could be a ball joint, tie rod ends or even the bearing if its not the bushings. Try pushing down on the fender when the car is parked and see if it does it then.

My first thought was not the suspension but the throwout bearing. Those are known to make some funky noises and act strangely when they are go bad. I’ve seen them make noises only when cold or only when hot. Sometimes they only make noises at certain RPMs.

Noises can be a bitch. I recently changed a LCA bushing, Compliance bushing, tie rod and a ball joint just to find out my noise was the strut mount (01 Civic). Oh well, it all needed replaced anyways. Now I need to do it all to the other side, lame.

Might I ask why you have an Accord radius rod? From what I remember of the 4th gen Accords they are not at the same angle as ours. My 3rd gen looked similar though.

It better not be the throwout bearing. Did a complete clutch job about a year or so ago (including a new throwout bearing)… As for the radius rods, I followed this teg tip, it basically adds more adjustablity.

After some experimenting, ive determined it’s not tranny related at all… when I push on the fenders, no noise… also, not sure if it’s related but when turning (at lower speeds) there is a ‘clunk’ noise coming from roughly the same area. I’m really quite baffled at this point

just jack it up and have a look. it might be something obvious, it might not.
shoot some lubricant at the bushings while it’s up if you can’t see anything.
