I just picked a 91 integra GS for 800 bucks. The only problem with the car is that It wont start :x. Needless to say the starter has been replaced same with the main relay fuses. The battery and alternator tested out good. The only way the car starts is with a pop start and if the wires are crossed on the starter. When i turn the key all the lights work and the fuel pump cuts on but it wont crank. Any possible ideas. My test light says the starter is receiving power.
Maybe the clutch switch could be the culprit
yea it’s the switch that grounds itself when the clutch pedal is depressed. Mine just went out 2 weeks ago.
I’d also check to make sure there isn’t a shitty alarm brain stuffed in there some where.
clutch switch? Can i buy this part or do I have to pull it from another integra? Have any pics of the switch?
Before you spend money on a clutch switch, check the wire in the engine bay that goes to the starter solenoid. Pull it from the starter and hook up the test light to it. Have someone try to start the car like normal while you watch for the light to come on.

he’s already said that it starts if you touch the positive to the solenoid. so that’s out.
OP you don’t have to spring for a clutch switch. (i’d hate to see how many hours it takes to install). you can go under the dash unplug (or cut the wires) the harness and use a paper clip to jump them. the switch is basically a safety switch to make sure the car isn’t in gear when starting.
Not quite, I’ve seen the solenoid wire turn on a test light and still not enough power to turn over the starter. Keep in mind that these cars are around 20 yrs old and the heat and age has built a lot of resistance on engine bay wires. I’ve been through this on two Integras and they were both wire related.

also, check your transmission ground.
