starting issue. NEED HELP!!

Alright so I have been having a very annoying and inconsistent starting issue. Just want to see if anyone else has had the issue or could maybe help.

So let me explain what happens. Occasionally, like I mean sometimes once or twice a day or sometime only once a week I’m having this issue with my car not starting. This has been going on for a couple months. So what happens is when I turn the key the starter dosent engage at all or even make a sound. But if I jump the starter directly from the battery it starts fine.

So like I said it’s random when it happens. Nothing is consistent about when it happens.

So far I’ve checked the ignition switch, it’s working fine. Starter relay is fine, already replaced mfr so it’s not that. Tried bypassing clutch switch still didn’t fix it. And I had a light hooked up for awhile. And no matter what the starter gets a signal to engage everytime I turn the key. So it’s getting power every time.

So I was thinking starter. Had the starter tested three times and passed every time. Also battery and alternator tested fine.

So I’m out of ideas. I’ve gone through everything in the starting system with no luck. At this point I might just replace the starter, but wanted to see if anyone had any other ideas first.

Check your engine ground wires, or just replace them or add an extra ground wire.

Already checked them all. Resanded everything to make sure it’s getting a good connection. And I ended up adding an extra 2awg ground. Still having the same problems

Also check your positive wire (to the starter) for corrosion. Hen you checked the relays were you testing for voltage or amperage?

I’ll double check the wire but I dont remember it being corroded when I had the starter out. And I tested for voltage. Before and after to see if it was dropping. Also I can hear it clickSo I don’t think it’s the relay

Double checked the positive starter wire. No corrosion. Bothe ends are still a shiny copper color
