My car runs fine for about 20 mins, but after that when I give it full power the rpms fly up, and I can feel the car catching up with itself, I had the clutched replaced 35,000Mi ago with OEM Honda. The car doesnt slip at all untill the car has been running for a long time. It also doesn’t seem to slip at all in 1st gear. I know there is a leak (transaxle). Any ideas what would be causing this to happen. syncros?? the car also doesnt have the smooth sound like it used too. Don’t know if this has anything to do with it.
Thanks for any help

Has to be the clutch. The insides of the tranny don’t slip. The synchros only matter when shifting, not while driving and staying in one gear. Might want to check and make sure the cable is adjusted and not allowing full movement before replacing the clutch again.
Does it smell like burning clutch after you drive it and it has been slipping?
you say there is a transaxle leak? Where is the leak exactly? If the oil’s getting onto your clutch, that probably wouldn’t be a good thing… (I’ve never had my clutch apart, but it is a dry clutch right?). If it’s getting oil it’s not supposed to, get the leak fixed and if you have to take the transmission off to fix it, try and use something to get the oil off the clutch while it’s apart.
the leak is around where the drive axle enters the tranny.
Il have to try it out later to see if I can smell that burnt clutch smell
