as e-da9 said: there is no such thing as a āb18a2ā Its just a made up engine code that for some reason people feel they have to use to tell apart the 92-93 integra enginesāso, please⦠all 90-93 rs/ls/gs integras are b18a1ās.
also, to clear up some of the b16a issues.
first off, there is NO such thing as a āb16a1ā. Many people use that code to name 89-91 jdm b16aās ----but they are WRONG! This is another engine code that does not exist.
all jdm b16 engines are labeled āb16aā They donāt have any number after them. However all jdm b16aās arenāt the same. the 89-91 b16aās (found in jdm integra xsiās and civic sirās) have 160hp and of course are non obd. 92+ jdm b16aās (found in 92-93 integra xsiās, and civic sirās) have 170hp and are obd1 or obd2. The 10hp is due to higher compression and slightly better cam profiles.
the b16a2 and b16a3 are usdm engines. Both have 160hp, and came in the del sol and the 99+ civic Siās.
