Stock 90 integra issues. ALOT. NEED HELP!!!!!

ISSUES:

idles low
leaking oil-not sure from where yet
leaking antifreeze- not sure from where yet
hesitates while accelerating
code 10- AIT air intake temperature- ???
at idle sound from muffler sounds like its under water- bubbling noise
spark plugs are white- checked fuel and the pressure is good
when I push in the clutch the rpms rise and hold there for about 2-3 seconds before dropping (meaning I push in clutch at 3k rpms and it rises to 3500k rpms and does not automatically drop it holds there for 2-3 seconds)

Ideas:
headgasket going out
piston rings going bad
distributer issues

Im looking for people who have had these issues or fixed a car with these issues, not looking for opinions, I have a 100 people here where I live giving me opinions and that wont get it fixed. It will just have me spending money hopeing the problem gets fixed.

Do a compression and leakdown test… that will tell you what condition your motor is in and if/where it’s leaking air (compression).

As you said, opinions will not get your car fixed… The only way to fix it is to diagnose YOUR motor.

Also, if you don’t have a manual for your car… get one. Even if it’s simply from AutoZone. Read it and see what it says about diagnosing your Code 10 and determine if the sensor needs replaced.

Did a compression test and all cylinders were fine…not perfect cause the motors old but not bad. I do I do the leakdown test??? Never done one

Nevermind, Ill just research the leakdown test and update this post once Iv done that. Thank you for the feedback so far

The leakdown will be better because it will fill the cylinder with air, and then you can let it sit for a few minutes and see how much air escapes/leaks. And by listening closely you can pin-point where it is leaking from.

If you hear it leaking from the oil dip-stick tube, your rings are leaking… if from the exhaust ports, your exhaust valves/seals/guides are worn, likewise for the intake setup if its leaking out of the intake side. You can take the radiator cap off also… If coolant is bubbling when doing the leakdown, you have a headgasket or cylinder issue.

Research the Code 10 and fix that as well. I don’t have my manual on hand. Search google for that one, should be easy enough to find.

And just so you’re not paranoid, EVERY motor leaks air, even a freshly built motor. Mine had zero miles on it and had a 2-3% leakdown per cylinder.

Thank you for the info. Now I have a better way to pin point the issue. I did read about the percentages for leaks. 0-5% perfect, 5-10% still good but keep an eye/ear out for issues, 10-20% time for rebuild, 20+% major issue
