Stock Axles to short

Alright heres the info 90 ls with a b18a bored to 20. My car is lowered about 2 inches from stock. I broke the inner cv joint about a month ago, the axle was about 4 months old it was a reman from NAPA. I didnt have any problems with that axle when i installed it and it worked great until it broke. I go to NAPA to get a replacement, i decided to go with a new axle. I put it in but the outer CV is 2 inches from mating up to the hub. I take measurements new axle is 23 7/16. I go back to NAPA to swap it for a reman, figured it was worth a shot but i ran into the same problem. I checked all motor mounts, all good, checked trany mounts, all good. I only have until next saturday to fix this before my racing commitments take my weekends away for yet another month so if anyone has any ideas letem rip

nothing you have done to your car would make the length any further away, try axles from another store. where in sac you live, i could come give you a hand if you needed. :slight_smile:

its an old post but do the tires look pushed back into the fender, like not perfectly in the middle of the wheel well?
