stock b18a vs gen 1 b16a in 93

what do u guys think if i got a b16 long block and put it into my 93 ls and have ls tranny. would you think itd run better than my stock ls motor that beat 8-10 si’s and that can hangs with gts celicas off the line. would the b16 do better than the motor i have now? OR should i just get a b16 head and take it to my local shop(jotech) and install ls/vtec? would that be the best thing to do? is there any complication with the tranny or anything?

…just buy a whole gen1 b16 swap,( axles, trans,motor,ecu) for like a $g$.

ive seen a b18b swapped teg with I/H/E and a b16 tranny
tear up b16s with I/H/E here at the street races in NYC
my inspiration to stick with the B18… i got a b18B head that im
doing some machine work too… hope it works out

try to find a gsr block, then try to swap everything from the b16a over- tranny, head etc.:burnout:

Do not put that LS tranny on a b16 it will run like S–T. The gears are too long. Unless your doing a turbo!:tsk:
