Is there a stock deck I can throw in my DB2 that comes with Bluetooth? I tried to look around, I found a few (I think a CRV) decks with auxiliary or maybe a USB input, but I would like the stock look if I could pull it off. If not I will just go with a Pioneer unit that has the Bluetooth function. That will most likely be cheaper and easier, just curious if I could maintain the OEM look inside.
Buy a new radio, there is no stock deck that will fit in the location without modification
Stock navigation unit from an 06-11 civic is a double din unit that would fit into place. Its going to require some wiring of course.
Going with an aftermarket Alpine/Pioneer/Kenwood would be cheaper and easier.
My sister has a 2011 civic and there is no way that radio is going in a g2 dash lol. You would have to do some serious work to make that fit, plus even more work for it to not look Like complete dog shit when installed
yes, good idea with the custom oem thing, but not really practical…
Lol. I figured it would br somr work. it is cool though. I will just get a piobeer unit off ebay for $100 and call it a day.
I went with the Pioneer DEH6400BT not a bad head unit… had the bluetooth, and works fine without being too flashy.
when you look at the cheaper BT Pioneer units mounting the microphone is tricky… best location I could get descent call quality was to run the mic up thru the dash and out by the cluster and clip it to my turn signal wand… I’ll tak a pic and post it later for ya…
If you run it up through the front pillar and out to the sun visor as recommended people have a hard time hearing you… the mic is definitely not the best.
