Stock Motor Mounts (HELP!!!!)

Im arguing for over 2 weeks with Innovative Mounts that the rear mount and the passenger side mount will absolutely not fit in my vehicle. They are saying that the kit 19350 that they sent me is the exact replacement kit for my vehicle but this couldn’t be remotely possible.

Here is a link of the exact parts that I received:

What I need to find is any type of “ACTUAL” photo of the rear and passenger “engine” mount as they call it anywhere if you guys have one. I am tired of being bullied around about my refund or getting the same part from these online people and their service is good, but their engine knowledge is not. If somebody could link a site or maybe even their own stock or aftermarket mounts for these area’s it would be HIGHLY appreciated!! I dont want another teggy member in G2IC to go through this month ordeal that I am because they are listing the wrong parts.

If possible, the mounts outside of the vehicle. I have a picture of my passenger side mount on the vehicle but these guys are making me work to fix their mistake of not knowing wtf they are selling for my proper parts to be returned…

I have a set that looks just like it but they are not from that company which you got them from because I don’t see the stamp on it anywhere. Anyhow, after changing driver-side axle, wheel bearing, and half shaft, I still get some vibration. It really got to me so I decided to go under the car and noticed that the rear engine mount and passenger were damaged. I noticed that this set which is the same as yours, has a strange looking passenger side mount. I pop the hood and look a close look and it looks like the bracket won’t fit…I will post picture, if I can upload the dam picture from phone. If not I will send you a picture via email.

dude why don’t you post a side by side comparison of your old mounts with new mounts. I think that would help your case instead of making calls and demands for refund.
make a couple more inquiries to find out what mounts you have like calling the dealer or parts store so they can show you what you should or could have.
it could be that your car alone has different mounts installed by some Guber.

I have a rear and transmission mount lying around and can post pictures of them soon. In the mean time post pictures of yours kit and we’ll go from there.

Did some digging and here’s a set that is being sold, though its for a 92-93 LS,GS,RS hydro conversion the rear and driver side should look similar.

Like I said we won’t know until you post some actual pictures of your mounts.

Me and my dad finally got around this past week installing the innovative motor mounts. Visceron: The passenger side mount looks like it will not fit but it does. It seems impossible when you hold it in your hand while under the hood. The trick is to take the passenger side mount out fist then take off the bracket on the transmission. When you take off that bracket, you will see three holes on transmission. Only then will the innovative mount on the passenger side fit. Getting that passenger side mount was a real in the ass. I removed and installed the rear mount without mount the side mount first, big mistake. On the passenger side getting that oem mount over the screw welded on the transmission mount is a headache. Good Luck. Hope that helps a bit.

true you have to remove the plate on the tranny to bolt on the new mount. the new mount replaces the mount and tranny plate.
again you should of posted your own pics of the new and old mount to give us a better understanding of what hour issue is.

Visceron: Were you able to get a refund? Did you install the innovative mounts? Let us know the status…

Coming back to this status I have 2 of the three mounts on. Beto and DA6 were right, you have to take off both plates. The first plate is the one the stock motor mount itself is a whole part of. The second part is an extra plate that Honda put on for god knows what reason. After both are on, you just bolt up the Innovative mounts. These are not “stock” replacements in my eyes because it requires more then just taking off the original motor mount itself and they are not exactly “3 engine mounts” because 2 are engine mounts and one is a transmission mount.

Here is a photo with the transmission mount on the vehicle:

Here is a photo of the actual second plate taken off of the vehicle:

And finally, this is a picture of the transmission when both the transmission mount have been removed and the redundant second plate has been removed.:

Notice how the transmission bolt on pattern is now relative to the actual Innovative Motor Mount bolt on pattern.

Nice dude

so have you called innovative to let them know you were wrong for the claims mentioned above.

wow, like seriously meng

This thread is funny.

It’s one thing to call a company out for a shoddy product…but quite aanother when you won’t own up to your own mistake and resort to toying with semantics regarding their “engine” mount kit.

They are indeed “stock” replacements as no modification is needed to make them work. Direct bolt-in product.

Old topic… ick
