im interested in a stock muffler for my DA9 just dont know what kinda to get because my axle back comes out on the right side?? not the left where it’d be oem any ideas please help im to LOUD right now lol
The stock muffler connects to the exhaust right above the axle on the right side, the muffler then curves towards the left side… i know im not describing it very well, but instead of coming straight out the back on the right side, there is a bend in the pipe, then the muffler itself sits right to left instead of your typical front to back, then curves again to come out the back of the car on the left side. any stock muffler should do, unless i misunderstood your question…
hey i think you might i misunderstood the question…my muffler comes out on the right side lik a typical civic and the newer DCs lik 94-00 my question now on a DA wht would make a nice looking stock muffler on that same side?
Nothing… the rear bumper doesnt have the cutout for the muffler tip on that side and it’ll look like ass. So get it bent to the other side as it’s supposed to be.
Trust me, I know it’s a pain but if you don’t want your rear looking retarded do it. I did it with 3" piping throughout. The stock muffler already has the bend you need so just weld it on to where yours ends.

if it’s cut out on the right side, get a new bumper and get the stock unit. done. that’s my opinion
