stock valve cover says "honda motor company"?

looking to buy a 91 GS and the valve cover says “honda motor company”. i know that it’s a honda motor, but i figured they would label it acura when they put it in an acura. i just want to make sure that it’s the original engine. is this the way it’s supposed to be? also, has anyone had any experience with aftermarket carpet replacements from places like JCWhitney? thanks.

stephen

Acura uses honda parts, so they do not change the vavle covers, it’s suppose to say that

Acura is still a honda design, they jsut changed the name here cause USA said that honda had to many cars under one title i believe so they made htem use a sub company and just labeled it honda, but they didnt’ change any of hte components,

thanks. i think i’m going to buy it.

This year is the year that honda started putting acura emblems and symbols on the valve covers, but only for the new cars.

Hey, do your Integras have ‘Acura’ written on the little round A/C button or ‘Honda’?

Just wondering if they’d be that picky about changing stuff

ours say “a/c” on the a/c button

Oh man, I hope this doesnt start another stupid JDM craze… Everyone is going to want the honda a/c button…
