im trying to remove the stock wing to give the car a totally clean look … has anyone ever tried this is it difficult i kno i obviously would need to do body work
im reffering to the wing pictured below
you can take it off just get some 10mm socket some flat head and some cleaning agent for the sticky double sided tape. you need a long socket. i think its 4 acorn nuts/bolts or screws i forgot 2 of each side. but becareful not to scratch your paint.
its very easy, I’ve done it myself the first time w/o breaking anything. first you take off that plastic rear piece under the trunk hatch window where the rear wiper goes, it has all them phillips screw plastic bolt things, it has clips so be careful when taking off, I believe you slide it off or so, I forgot, after that there should be like a bolt or two in the middle of the wing, than you take off the rest of the bolts on both ends.
oh you got a gs-r, hmmm same thing except there is that extra spoiler light wire hole, find where it ends and disconnect the wire.

You wouldnt happen to be looking to get rid of that wing would you?? I have been looking everywhere for a wing for my car and that one looks perfect. Are you looking to sell it??

nice clean and shave. i hate the emblem holes it makes my trunk looks weird and ugly. i`ll do this one thanks man.
