STOLEN: 1991 Acura Integra GS 4/18/2010 East Bay Area, CA

Hey guys -

On the morning of 4/18/2010, my car got stolen. I’ve been trying to post here for a week, but the website kept timing out, and now I finally got it to work. It’s a 1991 Acura Integra GS. 2-Door DA9. License plate 2ZKG398. It happened between 3am and 9am today, 4/28/2010, in Castro Valley, CA, right in front of my house. Anybody in the East Bay Area, please keep an eye out. It was my baby and daily driver. It had no mods, except for 17" chrome Motegi MR7s, amber corners, tinted rear windows. and it had a huge key scratch on the driver doors. Pictures to come soon. Please, anybody who sees it or has information, call the appropriate authorities and let me know immediately. I’ve gone through hell and back with this car and I want it back in one, driveable, piece.

EDIT: Pictures -

That sucks so it happen on 4/18 ? an no word? that sucks man tell me you had full ins. hope you hear some thing good soon

I’m sorry but I’m confused a little. Was it taken on the 4/18/2010 or 4/28/2010.
Sorry to here,I hope you get her back. GL

I’m sure its going to be stolen in 2 days. :giggle:

No less, sucks about the theft. I’ll keep an eye out.

It happened on the 18th, and the worst part about it is that I didn’t have theft coverage because I was an idiot when I was younger and had too many tickets.

Good news! It’s been recovered! As expected, they took the Motegis, and the stereo system. It was found in Hayward, dumped on a hill. The hood was removed, . They also took my windshield wipers for some odd reason. Now onto the interior - like I said, stereo and speakers are completely gone, which was assumed, but that’s alright with me since I was looking to upgrade this summer regardless. Everything else seems to be in good shape, although they did rip off some of the cloth from behind the rear seats which is a bit of a nuisance. The important question that I’m sure some of you are asking - does it run? The answer, yes it does. It started right up when I put in a battery and a spark plug wire, since one was missing. The transmission is still good too, it went into gear no problems and it drove no problems. Now onto the bigger things - there’s a lot to be done to get it back on the road, which I’m hoping within the next month.

Good to hear. Obviously it’s got to be someone with the same car who is just too cheap to buy parts. Otherwise I don’t think they would be taking random parts like that. Those wheels should be pretty easy to spot on any other car, they don’t look very common. Another thing about the wheels, you were kinda asking for it with them. Try to get a set that’s not as flashy. Glad you got her back though!

I hated them after the first year I had the car, the old man I bought the car from put them on! LOL:shock:
