Strange Issue starting when at operating temp (already searched around)

Hey guys,

I finally got the oil issue figured out with this damn car and now onto the next issue. When I start the car cold, it starts up fine. Throttle response can be a bit sluggish at times, but other than that she runs GREAT!!.

Now the problem. After I drive it for at least 10 minutes, ( it doesnt matter whether its cold inside the car or hot) if I turn it off and restart it, itll start but have a REALLY crappy low idle to the point where it shakes the car and pretty much regardless of how much you press the gas pedal it doesnt seem like it wants to rev up even if you floor it. If you push and release the gas pedal like 10 times, itll finally rev up and then hold a nice idle, but its VERY sluggish until it finally revs up. Im trying to figure out what the hecks going on here. I did some research and someone suggested that it may be the main relay, so I went ahead and fixed that by resoldering every point on it, as well as repairing the ICU. I was wondering if it might be an electrical issue, but I would think that if that was the case that itdd run poorly all the time once it came up to operating temp not just on startup. I already cleaned my injectors and changed the fuel filter to eliminate those as causes. It also has a new cap, rotor and plugs. I was also thinking maybe the TPS acts funny when it gets hot but if that was the case it shouldnt work at all once its up to temp.
Has anyone ever seen this kinda issue before?

Any help would be much appreciated…
Andy

I had the exact same problem and it was the main fuel relay. Are you sure you got all the points re-soldered fully? Mine was very sensitive to the point that I could get it to start by just barely touching the wires that connected to the MFR under the dash.

I would point towards the distributor innards as a suspect also a fuelpump that is starting to act up. What is your fuel pressure while it is in it’s funk? Also is this an Automatic with an EGR valve? i have ran into weird issues with the passages in the intake plugged up dumping all of the egr gas into the #3 or 4 cyl. usually this only causes a miss under part throttle but thought i would ask.
