theses guys suck balls…they sent me a damaged type r lip when it first came out and didnt want to refund me. after a few months and a complaint to the bbb…i got the money for the lip back…but lost out on shipping.
Use a heat gun to stretch the lip.
how can i do that?
i don’t mean to threadjack but, i had the same problem on mine, it took some effort forcing it to fit…
i ended up taking the front bumper off to make things easier, i had a friend pull and hold one side over the edge while i held the other and put the bolts into the bottom. it took a bit of muscle but we stretched the edges of the lips really tight over the edge of the bumper and tapped the screws in to keep it in place. there’s a little bit of gap between the bumper and lip but not a real big deal
i’ve had it on for about a month and it’s had its share of catching speedbumps and pavement but hasn’t cracked or broken where the self-tapping screws are and the rest of the lip, it’s pretty durable
yeah, i bought it from their ebay auction
i have pics of it put on here

when i think about it, there’s barely a gap at all, just have to be careful not to crack it when tapping the screws through it while holding it tight.
oh and, make sure it’s positioned right on the bumper. me and my friend were confused for about thirty minutes until we realized how it was supposed to fit onto the bottom of the bumper :bang:
