Just installed front strut bar and I noticed it was pressing on air boost valve (AKA dash pot) and the car shook at idle.
What’s the easiest way to solve this problem ?
I tried bending the bar and it didn’t budge.
Thanks in advance.

well,
I had the same problem. So, (i dont know if you can get access to this) i used my buddies press and bent the corners a little more. now it fits perfectly with absolutely no touching or rubbing. hope this helps.

You could shim under the mounts. Thats what I did on my pos front bar.
Ben
Did you torch the corners while you bend them ?
My fear is I might snap it in 1/2.
Ben, what did you use as shim ?
Thanks again.

Had the same problem with mine so I took it off. I’m guessing this is a generic bar. Mine was. The Neuspeed and Greddy bars are bent in a way to go around the dashpot.
I tried shimming with washers, but that didn’t work.
