There were 29 cars total in STS, so we did fairly well, although each of us thinks we could have done a bit better(of course). Los Angeles is an extremely competitive region for STS. At the National championships this year, 4 out of the top ten were from this region.

The only event I’ve ever been to at CA. Speedway was in the parking lot. December 13th is a practice day. I have a race down here in SD that day, but I’ll try to make it up to the championship event up there on that Sunday(Dec. 14th). I’ll talk to you more about it as it gets nearer.

That’s what I said the first time this guy beat us by several seconds. This guy is one of the best drivers I’ve seen in our class. He finished in 9th place(out of 53) at the national championships this year. Not to mention the two national wins he had in San Diego and Atwater this year.

I didn’t take any pictures, but a friend of mine often has footage from inside his car. This time he was co-driving someone else’s car though(S2000), so I’m not sure if he had the camera in there. You can check out his videos from past local events here.

STS is extremely popular in So Cal. It’s nice having a lot of competition, but I think I’d rather have less and perhaps a little more seat time instead.

how come he has stockish tires on his cars and wins 1st? at best he has s03’s, but they cant compare to azenis can they? you figure he would get even better times…
this past autox’s field was a good one. lots of great times/competition, and it was good to get out there again after a long absence. i think the g2’s did pretty well, though.
nino, you should post the total results of the whole sts class.
