Subwoofer enclosures.

I have a quick question on subwoofer enclosures. On the sub min recommendations is this befor or after driver displacement if it doesn’t list? The reason I ask is becuase I have a .33 Cu Ft enclosure in my truck and I am trying to figure out if I can put a Kicker solo baric L7 8" in it. and make it sound decent. This is a sealed enclosure

you should check to see what size sealed box is rocomeded for that speaker.

personaly it sounds a little small to me, but im no expert on speaker boxes

I check kickers specs and it says .33 Cu Ft but it doesn’t say befor or after driver dissplacment.

here is a link to the subs manual

I have a JL8W3V3 and it does a decent job but it doesn’t quite give me what I am hoping for so I am looking to upgrade. I could do with a memphis slim line 10" but if the Solo Baric will work decently I would like to go with that.

.33 cuft would be gross volume, if you check their 33. cuft box, [10"x10"x9.5"] outside dimensions using 3/4" MDF you get a gross internal volume of .3344 cuft. 94

So I should be ok with my enclosure? if I read that correctly

Yes. 94
