Suction dent removal

I seached w/o results.
I have several dents on my hood thanks to some nut-dropping squirells high up in the trees. (save the smart-assed comments)
I just read in product threads people talking about suction products for dent removal. What exactly can be used withouth destroying the paint or experimenting with the infomercial device? And if anyone knows, where can I find it?

small little dings i dont think can be fixed… but on our bmw, it had a dent in the rear back panel, and it looked like it was from a cart hitting it… but it was a big dent… the paint wasnt scrached though… i just grabbed our plunger… plucked it out… then the little areas that u can see… i just went from the inside, and held it out… just given it a little tap with something that wont edje… and used a little rubber hammer…

hey… it works…
small dings… anyone try that “ding king” stuff ?
(i thought u said some nut was throwing squirels out their window when i first read it… i was jus like :tsk: )

No, I parked under a tree a while ago that had hickory nuts I think and the squirells were up there eating and dropping them but I had like 10-15 dings before I knew what was happening. My dad’s brand new truck was covered with them. Mine are all on the hood under the reinforcing stuff so I cant get to most of them from behind the dents.

weigh the cost of a new hood and paint, vs. using a service like paintless dent removal. Search it on the net, they have a nationwide company that comes to you. The more dents the cheaper per dent they charge. The way they remove the dents is mostly massaging the dents out. They drill a small hole and push the tool against the inside of the dent. Not sure if this is the answer you’re looking for, but something to consider. Good excuse to get a carbon fiber hood now.

I heard someone on here talking about their dent king, the thing on the infomercials that has suction cups and pulls it out. I believe he liked the product…
