does anyone have this running in there DA? i emailed www.suja1motoring.com and they said it comes in a DA application as well, not just for the EF. I need to do this conversion and id like to know how users like the unit. How hard is it to install? How does it feel? Any problems?
my friend works at suja1 motoring…and they developed the kit so it feels just like hydro…My friend was tellign me that the kit is pretty badass and works awesome and feels just like a hydro trans in a newer car…
The bracket is not welded at the right angle so you have to shim the MC to get the piston at the correct angle for the pedal to transfer motion properly.
The MC needs to be mounted upside down unless you want to cut the cowl to pass the line.
I am not using the HVAC but i doubt very much that you would be able to retain your left hand vent and window defrost.
It mounts the MC so impossibly high that there arent very many places to mount the reservoir.
I doubt they put much effort into the kit for the da intagra.
I still think its a better solution than the other options out there but it is flawed nonetheless.
I am dissapointed and waiting for this setup to crap out on me…whenever it does for whatever reason it does im replacing the stock pedal assembly with a willwood or tilton pedal box. That is the real solution imo.

Once again, another testimony for “Why the F*** would you convert to hydro?”
Benefits to converting to Hydro = zero
Cons to converting to Hydro = many
For the people out there like myself who do-not have a choice but to convert to hydro b/c there aren’t to many good cable tranny’s left out there the only other alternative is to convert to a more user friendly and more parts available hydro trans. Also in order to take full advantage of the benefits of having a hydro trans is to convert to hydro why ?
No more stretchet clutch cables or snapping them in two.
No more scratching gears espesially third for all those b16 tranny owners (most of them).
No more weak diffs for those with smaller spline trannys like the ones from 90-91 usdm integras and 88-91 jdm civic, crx si, and xsi integra.
No more two or three different disengagement points on your clutch, like dissengaging at the bottom then all the sudden back to the top.
Those are just a few to mention of the top of my head now this is up to you on how you take on this, I myself used to be a firm believer on cable only tranny’s and clutches but after so many hardaches and non solutions you got to say to your-self I can only do so much you know.
So if you’ve got cable and it works then good for you, just try to keep it that way. And for the ones who run-out of options like myself there are other alternatives out there, and the sonem cable to hydro conversion is the one I had to go with bc it was the only one available to me at the time so I went with it. I kinda wished I would have went with the hush kit but this will do for the time So don’t feel left out b/c you eint the only one out there, and there is alway’s a solution for a problem if we all put our heads together.
Other than the stretched cable issue, couldn’t the other problems you mentioned be remedied by the cable to hydro thing that sits on the side of the trans? That is an option I would imagine.
That’s exactly what I’m talking about if you use that type of clutch lever to engage your hydro clutch it puts lots of loads on your cable thus stretching it over time that it will keep on changing you clutch engagement points from low to high. But none the less it’s not bad to use with an oem clutch or similar just not so good with clutches with extreme or heavy duty pressure plates. I guess in the end it depends on how the install is done and the setup you are using goes with the clutch and cable to hydro conversion you’ll be using.
