what is the best way to get super glue off of paint? i was werking on my car this morning and left a tube of super glue on my roof. much to my dismay it was open and i didnt know–and when i tried to gab the tube it was STUCK TO MY ROOF! so i yanked the tube off the roof, but have a nasty super glue spot (pretty ugly). what can i do?

I did this once… took it to a body shop that I am at often… and they said the only thing to do is to wet-sand it with fine and super-fine sandpaper, then buff it with a polishing and then a buffing compound. It will not look perfect. Super glue eats paint, and you may have a slightly darker area on the roof. My car is white, but they did a decent enough job that it was not too noticeable.
