surface rust

well i recently went on vacation for a week and left my car outside.
it didnt rain but in the morning there is a lot of moister in the air and my car does get foggy.

well when i came back from my vacation i notice my car was a bit dirty so i gave her a car wash but when i looked at her closer i noticed THIS!!!

a bunch of little speckles of rust stains EVERYWHERE ON THE CAR!!!
i was sooooo saddd to see her like that :frowning:
iv never owned a white car so idk if this is normal? is there a way i can just buff the rust out!!
i really wish i didnt leave her out there…

any ideas guys?

is that rust? or sap? i had sap on my legend when i had it that looked like rust. it was a bitch to get out

LOL im pretty sure thats not sap, theres no trees around my house which is kind of sad now that i think of it :frowning: but yeah i tried to clay it out and wax it off, got most of it, but still has a few speckles here and there

did you try like a polishing wheel or something along that sort?

That would be called fallout. Using a detail clay bar will do the trick. Research and you’ll be fine.

thats actually metallic brake pad dust…see it everyday on brand new vehicles…gotta get it off before it eats through the paint

if you live or park beside a railroad, its probably rail dust. just use a clay bar like TegFan said, and polish it up after, and you ll be fine.
