suspension/bushing

They told me the same, that they were getting a kit together. It didn’t sound like anytime soon though, didn’t give me what was assemble or what else was needed. Hopefully you got a more inform rep. Though I already got oem pieces, pic better not come out within the next few months…

I hope they make a whole kit for the DA so I can change out these es bushings whenever they seem to get warped and beat up looking.

Don’t hold your breath. Here’s what my ES bushings look like after what’s approaching 10yrs now. I wish I knew the exact mileage, but it’s somewhere in the 80-100k range I think. They look more dry than they were originally, but I also never regreased them. The jagged edges and what looks like tearing is from a pair of channel lock pliers I was using to try and pull them out of the LCA’s, prior to that they were smooth. Just a little dry and dirty.

Nice, I didn’t think they would look that good after that much use! Good stuff Colin.

Weather and/or locale may play a factor, I’m not sure. And I suspect that either the black bushings are better than the red ones or they have changed the product in some way. I think we’ve all seen the dry rotted red ones from years back.

Yeah, luckily I have the black ones if they are better.

The only poly bushings I have seen wear or deform are the lower shock mounts, center bore gets kind of egg shaped.

Someone from PIC is meeting with the manufacturer next week to finalize bushing sets. ETA 2 weeks - 1 month. Just in time for autox season. Shoot, if this thing handles predictably, I’ll track it.

The black ones are self lubricating to a point. Red ones are not. That’s what the website says at least. Who knows about the older ones though.

Pic just got back to me yesterday. Too little demand for DA kits. Discontinued. They stated the EF kit was the same except for the upper control arm bushings and rear trailing arm bushings. Might go that route and source a set of rtas from Autozone. Have all the ucas I need.

Would anyone be interested in a group buy? Maybe I could convince them to order another round…
