suspension bushings for da

whats everyone running for suspension bushings?

I will be running Hardrace hard rubber bushings or new OEM bushings for my suspension.

I used to run Energy Suspension on my old DA and was pretty happy with them but I also never checked on them to see how they were holding up. I didn’t do any serious racing either.

I have read lots of mixed feelings and negative stuff about poly bushings and haven’t found anyone saying anything negative about hard rubber bushings. The only negatives I can think of for rubber is that the price is higher, you can’t completely replace everything and the installation cost could be higher.

i went to hard race website they only list a dc2 not a da

Sorry I didn’t mention that, I was trying to keep my post short.
You are correct. However, through crosslisting part numbers from Acura, Energy Suspension, Prothane and Mugen I think that all the lower control arm bushings as well as the rear upper arm and rear compensator arm are accounted for in their other kits. I am currently working on confirming this but the distributor I’ve been talking with actually wants me to send my arms in. They are off the car, I just have to mail them off. So I hope to have a definitive answer by spring.

I also emailed buyhardrace.com and they said that they may consider putting together a DA kit. If I can confirm exactly what bushings work from other kits, I’m hoping they will do it but that is probably a ways off.

Anyway, sorry for the long-winded response. PIC/SUJA lists a hard rubber kit for our car, but I’ve never seen anyone actually selling them or running them for the DA. I have not tried to email them though, I figured I would check them out if it didn’t pan out with hardrace stuff.

from the looks of it the pic/suja kit requires us to use the dc kit because it says that only the trailing arm bushings wont work. If thats the case then all thats needed is to burn out the factory bushing and press the new one into the old collars. If this works ill definitely want a set.
im just running stock.

So do you think that it is really just one kit that they sell? I interpreted that part at the bottom of the home page as saying that “while we list a bunch of shit above, not every kit has all of those bushings”.

The thing is, if you go look at the part numbers for the individual energy suspension bushings, they aren’t the same for 1990-2001 Integras. My understanding is that there are bushings in the front lower control arm as well as the front upper control arm that just won’t fit. I could be wrong though.

Hopefully you are right though and it all works. I just never bothered emailing them but I would be curious to know if all those bushings fit. There is an old thread of someone buying the DC hardrace kit who said they would report back with what fit and what didn’t…but they never did.

Well the website didn’t list an option to buy the 90-93 kit only 94+, then it also mentions that for 90-93 only the trailing arm bushings won’t fit. Considering the amount of interchangeability between the different cars, I’d believe that atleast most of the bushing would work. I don’t know for sure, so if someone else knows Your input would be appreciated.
