They dump the front 2.0" and the rear 1.8". Spring rates are 425F/215R. Nopi has them for only $97, are they any good? Any one had them on their car? Friend’s car? Heard anything…?
this should be int eh product reviews
Ive never seen them on a G2…but i have installed them on a friends 96 civic and 98 4dr integra. I think for the money you can hold out and get HR’s or the Nuespeed’s race. The speedtech’s seem really soft almost stock soft. On both the cars that I put them on they seemed to lower more then what was said on the box. The 1.8in on the civic looked more like 2.25, and the 98 teg looked around that also. If your looking for a stiff spring, these are not it or at least in my experience.
With those spring rates you’ll be getting alot of understeer. Kinda feats the purpose of getting sport springs.
they were my first lowering spring they are ok i thought not very low so i got coilovers and ended up cuting one coil and in the back to level out the car them ended up putting them on my moms teg they ride fine
Had them for almost a year. Drop wasn’t even. Want to cut a coil out of the back to level flatten out the car. They handle just fine with my kyb gr2’s. I don’t really have any understeer problems.
im really bringing this one out of the dead, but does anyone that is an active member now, currently have suspension tech. springs on their car? if so, do you have any pictures? is there a lot of swaying while cornering like stock springs?
I have them. But they are the EG/DC version (not the DA). They are on my super stiff ITR Ohlins shocks. I don’t have any swaying like stock. I sold a set of 1" drop DA ones to unc25, and 2" drop set to someone else.
From my past experience with Suspension Techniques springs, STAY AWAY! Garbage…
hey thanks a lot for the tip… i think ill just save the extra $40 and buy some tein’s then.
