swap help!! wont start

ok me and a friend recently did a b16 swap into a teg. After we got everything in place other then the map sensor and no vaccuum lines were connected and we were running a pr4 which is the original ls ecu, we started it and it ran. Of course not great cuz of the wrong ecu and what not but thats not the problem. After we ran all the vaccuum lines, connected the maf sensor, put the p61 ecu, and ran the vtec, knock, and vtec solenoid wire, it wont start…

now the car cranks fine and it even jumps like its going to but then it wont turn over. We have spark, brand new spark plug and wires, theres fuel in the rail, mfr is fine, the fuel pump is pumping, and the timing is PERFECT. Soooo we are lost. Any ideas?

check ur vacumn lines, sensors, wirings again, althought it mite be the ecu… try to use the pr4 again see if it works or get a known working one…

well we even went back completely to taking all the vacuum lines off and undoin all the wiring and put the pr4 back in and nothing. We tried his p72, and the pr4 from my other integra and nothing. we are at a loss…

OBD or OBD1? I would recommend the pr3 or p30 if OBD1, both operate my B16 flawlessly…any engine codes?

its obd1 and no its not throwing any codes at all but the p61 was running it in the last car it was in with no problems

you sure your getting fuel into the cylinder?? maybe you should look at your injectors.

problem solved…for some reason the mfr shorted out :werd:

YEAH and then someone forgot to torque the dang crank pulley down and it fell off on the highway!!! What a great guy for showing up with another crank pulley and fixing it on the spot!!!

Actually really weird thing is the car ran with the old MFR the previous day. Then go to finish some wiring and wabaam… was getting fuel and spark but no start…

Next day change the relay and fires right up… LOVE THE MFR… makes me want to bang my head against 2 brick walls sometimes!!!

NOW GET THOSE OIL LEAKS FIXED SUCKA… You are polluting and leaving follow me puddles everywhere you go!!!

BTW- I enjoyed that swap and I am sorry for the delays… life happens when time does not stand still for me.

lol you crack me up and that wasnt me…cliff again lol just liked he torqued down my wheels. good thing is car is running fine and it seems like the oil leak is from the vtec solenoid and the §§§§§ area.
