How much would a suspension tech’s. front and rear sway bar help reduce the death roll on my teg which currently has stock suspension? Im also lookin at lowering my car in the future, but just want to know about the stock right now.
it’ll be better than the stockers for sure.
from what i’ve read you need stiff enough springs to help make the sway bars do their job. i dont see how it couldnt help somewhat with stock, just that to really get all you can out of them it helps to upgrade other things too.
Yes you do feel a big improvement compared to that of strut bars and other chassis bars. Having both bars decreases body roll, but also having both increases understeer, only having the rear you gain oversteer but gain body roll in the process, so it’s really up to your preference in preformance. Im considering that your car will be a “everyday” car so having both bars will be a great improvement over what the current stock sway bars provide
is this relative to having both st bars or are you saying having a rear bar only with stock front bar will have more body roll then stock front and rear?
Arman, I can still get my car to slide with both ST bars. It’s all about the “system”.
What about the roll. if your sliding its your tires.
I recently installed a rear bar, but left the front stock. I am planning on some new poly bushings for the front but thats about it. The size of the front bar vs the after market ST bar is very minimal, I believe 1mm in difference. I am not sure of the material difference between bars, I am sure the ST bar is a lot nicer, but for the set up, but I am hesitant on spending another 140 on a front bar. We will see how my set up turns out.
Body roll is minimal with both bars on. My setup is fairly neutral.
