Synthetic Manuel Tranny Fluid Change And Type?

HI EVERYONE, OK I HAVE TWO QUESTIONS;

  1. I AM CHANGING THE TRANNY FLUID IN MY 92 TEG. I KNOW WHERE THE DRAIN IS BUT I DONT KNOW WHERE U PUT THE FLUID INTO. I LOOKED AT MY HAYNES MANUEL BUT CANT FIND WHERE TO PUT THE FLUID INTO. CAN ANY ONE HELP W A PIC OR DESCRIPTION!!!???

  2. ONE OF THE GUYS UP AT MY LOCAL ACURA DEALERSHIP TOLD ME TO GET RED LINE SYNTHETIC TRANNY FLUID (MT-90) BECAUSE IT IS BETTER THAN NORMAL FOR HARDER RUNNING. ANYONE KNOW IF THIS IS GOOD OR BAD.? THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR HELP ASAP!

The filler bolt is just above the drain bolt a little to the front. It is on the same side and is close to the axle. Just use 10w30. Its what its made for. Others may tell you different. Also remember to have the car level when filling the tranny.

one tip. Make sure you can remove that filler bolt before you drain all the fluid.

I think the Acura guy meant Redline MTL. I use it and it works great. I think the manual says to use SAE 30, not 10/30.
