im gona be geting a tach soon
and i was wondering what wires i have to tap into when i install it
and if you havea anyother tips for me regardign the installation i dont know if it matters but it is the 5" silver sportcomp with shift light

It comes with instructions as to where the 4 wires need to be spliced.
Red - 12v “key-on” source
White - 12v lighting
Green - Coil neg. signal
Black - Ground
The green ones goes to the solid blue wire coming from your distributor and the black one just needs to be grounded. I spliced into the wires for the fog lights (I think) for the 12v lighting and the “key-on” source.
