during the clearing of my 93 tails, the wrap-around side where the vents go got a tad deformed through melting…i’ve tried to heat that up and mold it back in place but the vent would still not fit.
wondering if anyone knows if the lens off of 90-91 tegs are the same as the lens off 92-93 tegs? it seems like i can find people selling their 90-91 tail lights but not 92-93 tail lights at the moment…

well if you want i can sell ya my tails cheap i am pretty sure they are the same size
Having seen both cars (2 door) side by side I would say they’re a straight swap. I mean, there are no changes to the body of the car, so it shouldn’t be a problem.
Only difference I can see is the way the lenses look. That being said, I haven’t swapped them around myself.
Yes, the lenses fit all years for the DA, either can be used.

not really do some searchs theres millions of threads…but basicaly the 90-91 are all white on the top and red on the bottom…the 92-93 are yellow and and white on the top instead of all white

i’m just talking about the outside piece lens, not including the plastic (orange pieces on the inside of the tail light)

You can’t get the outer lens separately, so I’m not sure what you are asking? When you buy them, you get the whole thing, not just the lens (new or used).

i know…sorry if i wasn’t clear
but basically i’ve cleared my 93 tails…removing the orange piece from the inside but i accidently melted the corner too much and the vent will not fit back into place.
so i’ve been searching for another set of 92/93 tails so i can just take the lens off of those…but haven’t been so lucky. however, i’ve come across a couple sets of 90/91 tails…i’m just wondering if anyone knows if the lens off the 90/91 tails are the exact same as the 92/93 tails so that i could take it off the 90/91 and apply them to my 93 cleared tails
