I have a 92 RS 4DR, with 2 destroyed taillight lenses. Long story short, I found some locally for extremely cheap ($30 for the pair). I spoke to the owner, he confirmed they were out of a 92, and would fit my 4 door non hatchback no problem. A buddy of mine went by his place, picked them up, tinted them, and brought them over. Lo and behold, they came out of a hatchback.
My question is: am I screwed? Is there any way I can remove the lenses, cut them to fit, and secure them to my lights? I called the dealer; discontinued. They had 2 lenses left… at $400 a piece (no joke).
If I am screwed… does anyone need ‘92 taillights for a hatchback that have been nightshaded’
