Ive got the touring medallion for my car and i LOVE it!!!
sounds better than my old RS-R ex-mag.
Definitely wanna hear a sound clip of the medallion touring. Also wanna know if anyone has the super medallion hyper specs because i heard it is suppose to have a really nice sound, i also like the look a bit better.

How does it sound better than your ExMag? That catback is supposed to be quiet, I mean that is one of its big selling points, free flowing and quiet.
Here’s mine…not that loud like the RS-R,for me i like it better to hear more of the engine.The TANABE’s exhaust got a stainless steel and the tip is bigger than the RS-R’s which have the satin stainless steel and the tip got the inner wall.
Is that the super medallion hyper spec. also do you have any sound clips.

The exhuast note is smooth, not obnoxious, and well toned at WOT. Cruising…its just like stock. I have a test-pipe too…I imagine it will be a bit louder once I attatch it to a nice header.

Uhh, no. The Ex-Mag is touted as being “Quieter than stock”. I was trying to find out what you meant by “sounds better than my old RS-R ex-mag.” Which is quite subjective. Since you elaborated in the quoted post above, I have my answer. Thanks.
I am really wanting to hear a WOT soundclip of the Tanabe exhaust and not some revving soundclip of other cars.

I don’t have a sound clip but on my first teg I had the Medallion touring and on my 2nd I opted for the Concept G. If I had to do it all over again I would stick with the Touring. The Touring bolted up directly and uses all the factory hanger points with no fuss and is quieter than the Concept G…D
I got the racing Medallion (along with front + back two strutbars, CAI, Timing belt, various manuals and OBX header) for 200$. Needless to say 
Sounds so good and is silent on idle, to bad sometimes I have that stupid seeking idle… One of the best sounding exhausts Ive heard and really good quality. Although it would have been nice if they used that stick hanger located up in the rear right wheel well.
Another plus to this exhaust is it is VERY light. Which Kinda surprised me. Just great quality all around. Would definitely recommend!
BTW it sticks out sideways if you know what I mean, but not to much. It actually looks pretty good to me but some people don’t like it. Will get some pics + sounds clips up sometime today maybe (if the weather stays good).
Alot of clearance. Tried taking a video for sound but it come out like shit and doesnt sound like it at all, you cant even hear the idle

The Ex-mag is not quieter than stock. Its not loud, its not raspy; But it does have a nice, smooth & mellow tone.
Walla, do you, for some reason, not like me. You seem to be picking apart what I say, and assuming that I know nothing. Also, you seem to be mis-reading much of what I say.

No, I have never owned it. And yes, I do not have a “clue” about the RSR-Exmag, I never said I did.
I did not SAY it was quieter than stock, I said it was TOUTED as being quieter than stock. There is a big difference. Search g2ic, you will find posts stating its quieter than stock.

No I was looking around on-line but I was looking for an actual canadian store that carries it and I was getting boggled looking through google after a while haha so I figured I’d see if anyone found anything for cheaper that’s in canada.
well if I had seen this a few days earlier you could have bought my concept G. I bought it used it for about 2 months and opted to go back to the touring. Well the guy still hasn’t paid for it yet so maybe…D
Mick Garvey, what exhaust is that? i know its a tanabe but is it a “Tanabe medallion concept g” ?
