So, after 24 or so days I finally got my TechOne HID kit, I ordered the Bi-xenons 8000K from this thread http://g2ic.com/forums/showthread.php?t=161541, talk to a guy named Jason…originally I was going to order from Chris from this thread http://www.g2ic.com/forums/showthread.php?t=160845 but since he doesent do any credit card transactions, so I choose Jason instead, 8000k bi-xenons for $310.00, lifetime warranty and shipping included.
My order was about 1 week late, Jason told me that the reason was that he had to order from the factory since he ran out of the bi-xenon kit…I ordered some time around Jun 7th or so, and my kit was shipped on the 17th and it got here to Indonesia on the 27th.
Packaging was messed up, the whole kit was upside down…and he sended it to my GF’s address instead of mine, maybe because I was using my GF’s CC, but I did gave him my full address.
Instalation was preety hard, had to modify the wires a bit…but here is the kicker, i later found out that one of the bulb’s motor for the high beam is broken…then after that, one of the ballast got messed up too, so I’m here driving with only one headlight…
I still havent contacted Jason yet…but I just hope that he will re send the parts that are broken…
On a good note…its preety damn bright, even with just one working headlight…
So…I found out that I have 2 broken ballasts, and 1 broken bulb, I also told that I need to ship the items back to the states, which will cost me a lot of money…and then I will have to pay the shipping back to Indonesia…
yeah…so either on monday or tuesday I need to get my lazy ass to the post office and ship these stuff to him…just wish that i dont have to do all of this, i mean HID kits are kinda of a gamble, sometimes you get it the first time, sometime you dont…
