Teg is Back Together

Just finished putting back together the Integra after completing a full Canadian Manual Seatbelt front and rear conversion. Thanks to hammeredteg90 for getting me the parts. Here are some pics:

Couple of outside shots just for the hell of it:

Some things I learned:

  1. The rear seatbelts need to be completely swapped out for the black trim. The US and Canadian belts don’t work together.
  2. Use the Canadian carpet or you will end up with a giant hole in each side where the lap belt used to be like how mine currently is.
  3. The US electrical connectors do not fit the Canadian ones. I just ended up disconnecting the connectors to the box in the passenger kickwell. No more beeping but also the light that tells you to put on the seatbelt never comes on anymore also.
  4. The whole process is a major pain in the ass!

looks nice…what seat are those?

Thanks. The seats are Recaro SRDs

Hey,
I was wondering how it all worked out. Glad to see the conversion up and running.

very nice Nelson. those seatbelts look a lot more secure then the ones I got to ride with  HAHA Love the recaros too man, seeing yours make me want to find a set

Thanks for the compliments guys. Glynn, it is a lot safer than when you drove it. Seatbelts actually do lock when you brake hard, although the seats keep you in place anyway

Good, Good!! Now you can concentrate your efforts to cleaning that carpet;)

Haha, that’s pretty funny … looks good Nelson.
