Nice, Im gonna go try this out, but the pictures are showing :frowning: Ill check them later when I get home, but they sure would help, if any of you have them saved maybe you can email them to me please, my headlights keep burning out and I need to get this done today or tomorrow.

I was reading lodoss post are the problems he is having be fixed by moving the actually bulb closer to the stock h4h… i’m curious since i will be doing this conversion also… TIA

it won’t fix it! look at his picture… do you see how the H4H bulb in the middle has no metal cover that blocks all the light from one side?

Here is the link to my album that I still keep. Imagestation keeps changing the URL  Anyway, the sequence of pics you see in the album is exactly the sequence of steps that I’ve written here.

I highly suggest that you DO NOT FOLLOW Figure 1.5. That is a complete blunder on my part. If you follow Burnsie’s posts, he has given an awesome quick fix that should replace Figure 1.5. I’ll try and revise it next time and hopefully have N FUL FX properly archive it in the Teg tips section.

Oz

Oz, with your permission I can set up a URL with the pics hosted, as well as burnsie’s step 1.5, edited, etc. Just gimme a shout if that’s ok with you.

I moved some stuff around on my site and that pic was one of them. Anyways since people are still talking about it i figured i would post it again for all to see

well i went ahead and modified it som emor eand try more fittings… it seems that it can provide good light witha modified H4 bulb… it is def a chepaer route but visibility wise… i still gonna have to say you lose some… I will be using my razo bulbs since i paid for them but i still wish i could of gotten aftermarket H4H bulbs instead.

i must say that the RAZO bulb is no doubt a good brand… this one bulb i got realy has taken a beaten i mean literally one of the metal ties inside the bulb actualy broke off but that **** is still working… One time hwne i took the bulb out it was smoking… something touched it… well anyways it is still working but not sure how long it’ll last…

i’l try to get som epics of them… i must say the color of them along with my catz zeta = pure white.

Flapjack -> Thanks for the offer. I’ll leave the decision to you. Just give credits to the proper people  I am revising the whole write-up next month since LL Cool B is inviting me over to help him with his 1pcs. So, I might be able to capture some pics then, and then properly rewrite it.

Burnsie -> Thanks for the repost! That should help some people grasp the idea.

LODOSS -> I hope that RAZO bulb of yours isn’t Xenon. And the fact that you dropped the bulb will probably fudge the internals. Just buy the regular H4 from AutoZone or something (I believe it’s manufactured by Phillips).

personally i thgouth the one piece installation was really straight forward i needed no help what so ever… but i had previous exp in taking off bumber etc whic is prob the most labor intensive part of the whole thing…

I must say that the RAZO bulb is prob the best bulbs ever made in terms of reliability… i cannot believe both bulbs are still working on my car properly aling… low beam only so far. althought yes they lose visibility but the light output is pure white… i def need to get you guys some pics of them. with these in one piece headlight and my catz zeta the performance/visibility is still really good. however i’m concern with the high beam output though. the stock bulb high beams when i turn them on… it’s surpassingly bright and i can see stuff well beyond 100 ft with clarity… o yah i’ve been getting compliments on my one piece … even though they don’t know what they are they just say the headlights look good… usuallly they said it in the night…

Phillips bulbs made in German are good stuff too… also Bosch high power blue 80 watt bulbs keeps itself pretty cool but also put outs alot of light… but the color is lacking in them… so does the piaa’s none of the piaa’s are really white in my opinion… even their best bulbs… but their visibility is good… just as good as my razo.
