mike.

ahhh too far… i dont know when’s the next time i’ll drive the DA up to the bay area again…

sooner or later, i will though… and i’ll make sure to let you know…

damn, arent you tired of painting this car? what’s next…purple? purple would be hot with those wheels

hahaha

purple might be too much…

i think this color is staying though. finally…

I have a few questions about your RHD conversion.

From what I’ve read while searching you said you bolted the pedals to the passenger side but lost some pedal feel. Do you think adding some playing to the fire wall would bring the pedal feel back?
Did you move the clutch and brake masters?
What parts do you need for the swap? Where can I find them?

i used the rhd pedal assembly when i converted, there are certain parts that attach the pedal assembly to the steering column that arent the same on the USDM assembly. pedal feel is changed because of the mounting locations/bracing that’s originally there, they look like 1" long thick spacers. and those stiffen that part of the sheet metal so the brake pedal feels stiff when pressing hard on it.

i notice the gas & clutch pedals didnt go down all the way as far as they’re suppose to, and im guessing i could’ve just gotten an air hammer, and formed the sheet metal to give way, but i just hadnt done it yet…

“did you move the clutch and brake masters” - umm… yes? there’s no clutch master, it’s cable, and the brake master cylinder goes onto the brake booster, which bolts through the firewall together with the pedal assembly.

what parts you need, i suggest getting everything. and where to find it, your on your own…

I keep forgeting these cars have a cable clutch.

Sounds like the spacers sound be easy enough to fire off on the lathe.

Thanks man.

very very ill but why not all yellow turn signal lights?

i had my clears painted yellow/amber a while back, and was looking for some amber ones, but never got around to it. so i sanded down & buffed out my old ones.

[QUOTE=tegboi;1878165]he shot me… hahaha

Personally I think that the car looked way better when it was white. You know what they say “If it aint white, then it aint right.” Teg is still looking real good though.

Found that all of the links were broken, and I’ve been missing some G2IC as of late… First post refreshed!

Ooh, front end change up, me like!

What up Kevin! How’s everything. DA looking clean as always.
