A little background and elaboration on the build.
-The car was bought a month ago for $350.
-The car runs but the previous owner broke a ball joint and couldnt replace it.
-Motor will be reused, still sounds good and car runs smoothly.
-Car is rough inside and out, but nothing a little elbow grease wont fix.
I want to go ahead and say this build couldnt have been done w/o the the info on g2ic and the help of the Colorado G2 crew. It is the camaraderie of the Colorado g2 crew that lead to this build. Thanks for all the help guys.

Wow really?
Front end and dash removed. Motor is ready to be pulled.
-Motor pulled.
-Abs crap removed.
-A/C Removed.
-Auto shifter removed.
-Auto linkage removed.
-Auto pedals removed.
Why does everone want to get rid of ABS?
I did opt to install the Non-ABS brake booster and Non-Abs Master so those have been installed w/ the prop valve. Flared the two lines and the abs is pretty much complete. Thanks for coming through Agazzi.
Took the motor out for cleaning. My brother did the cleaning, so i wont take the credit.
I have 92-93 tails if you want to buy them!
Replaced the Intake manifold with a manual IM. Threw on a new main seal. Assembled the resuf’d flywheel and clutch onto the motor. Also had to grab manual flywheel bolts because the auto ones are shorter. Thanks for coming through on that Craig. We also replaced the spring on the manual trans. The Ebay header came in and the motor is prett much ready. We Also Shimmed the trans mount. $25 trip to metric bolt for some grade 10 bolts.
because it notorious for falure at its age
its been a long road man:up:
Thanks but i have everything. I have some 90-91 tails if you want to buy them!
Took the motor out to the drive way for a little scrubbin. Also grabbed the hole saw and drilled a nice hole in the firewall for the clutch cable to run through.
Lol, no thanks man I’m good. Are you just copying this from somewhere else? Like are you already done with the project?
Yea the car is almost done. I felt it would be alot more organized if I waited to post the thread.
Ah, good idea! It’s not bad as long as you make a table of contents for people to use.
Because it’s more cost effective to just remove it than it is to maintain. That shit gets expensive!
Fares: It’s coming along great! No problem about the brake lines, just trying to save ya a couple bucks! I’m real glad we got that swap wiring sorted out too, now to just tidy up the rest and you’ll driving in no time :excite:
