Here. I didn’t feel like saving this to a file on my computer to get lost, so I’ll put it here that way I can mark it off as I go

i have some of those parts if needed just let me know greazemunkey73@yahoo.com
Yeah I do, that was copied from someone else’s post. I’ll add it on, thanks!
Thanks man, I’ll get back to you once I get some cash. When school lets out the 27th I’ll start working to get money. Right now I don’t have a job though. But I appreciate it! I’m probably gonna start with the cheapest parts first, then work my way up to the bigger stuff like the tranny and mounts.
Well tomorrow is the day my baby should be getting painted! I’m hoping all goes according to schedule. I MIGHT be able to have it home by the end of the weekend if putting it back together goes smoothly, though I need some thing before I’m willing to drive it around too much. Oil change and basic tune up, along with door seals (weather seals, I still have no clue which is correct), and I need to get my headliner done (dad’s covering that, he can do it himself).
Also, I’ve been seriously considering a B20B to replace my neglected B18A1. I think that it would be a good idea even if I still have the auto tranny, because I would rather have an auto and a fresh engine than my engine blow going down the road. But I think I’m going to get everything I need for the motor and then if my old motor is still in existence I’ll go ahead and put a 5 speed tranny on it, that way I kill two birds with one stone. How difficult is it to swap to a B20B? Can I manage with just a Helms manual? My dad is really good with cars in general so I’m sure we can do it, just if anyone has any specific knowledge like what not to do and what parts I will need to buy to make it fit (such as engine mounts and whatnot). Thanks in advance for any help, I am researching right now but I always like to have a second opinion.
Bad News. Steve bought a condo in Florida a month or two ago and has been working on it. Well my dad and him decided to drive down there and do some stuff that needs to be done, so no paint right now
. I was really looking forward to it but I guess not today.
Good News. I have a super made tite JDM part y0! Haha, not really but I am making this in my Home Economics class. It’s going to have a nice home in the seat of my car so it can go everywhere with me, lol.

Dad’s heading to Steve’s this Thursday. Too bad I’ll be taking stupid finals :umno:
hey, finals hopefully means good grade, which leads to an good job, which lead to a big pay check, which leads too, well do I have to Finnish this…
Lol, no you don’t! Yeah the only one I’m really worried about is my Algebra 2 w/ Trig, but I’m going over it tomorrow so I’m hoping to do good! I’m getting 24 hours a week at my dad’s job this summer for ten weeks, and I’m also going to cut grass on the side. Hoping to get a 5 speed swap with a fresh B20B in by next school year in August!
nice man shits turning out great, so jealous my car doesnt go to the shop tell august and i wont be there to do any of the work lol
Lol, thanks man. It is nice to be there and watch it take shape. It way more rewarding imo. But good luck to you and hope your car goes more according to plan than mine, haha.
Most likely using a 1/8 piece of plywood for the headliner that way it’ll be nice and flat. Got to figure out how to get the little sliding thing out of the sunroof so we can wrap it  . Probably going to go ahead and order my carpet from stock interiors and I’ll just pay my dad back later. Looking at getting most of the interior done tomorrow!
plywood might be to heavy, you would be better of relining the stock headliner
I love the way this build is coming out. keep it up:up:
No it wasn’t too heavy. And it wasn’t plywood. It was more like particle board, or MDF. It was only 1/8" so it wasn’t heavy at all. I’ll put that update in a second.
PROBLEM.
My car basically doesn’t stop emitting smoke. I don’t know why. I’m not getting any codes or anything. It’s white smoke. That’s about all I know. Also my car sat for about 3 years before we got it. Could it just be old gas? Or fried rings? Can I expect it to disappear once I drive it around a good bit?
