Teggykid Running Log *New Wheels*

How about when you all drive it normal does it grind or do a crunch or does it shift like glass(butter)?

I’d take a car that runs dope before one that looks cute. I saw your cams and i can tell you now that motor is tired.

But what you didn’t notice is the two-fucking-page long motor swap. The motor runs like a dream.

Driving around it shifts ok. Not as smooth as some people claim, but ok. Every now and then it’ll grind 3rd, but not too often

A guy once told me that (that my motor is tired) LOL. I told him well hey my tired motor is still running so must be running strong cause I’m still spankin a-lot of cars out there. So much for my tired ass motor hugh, well for it being tired and still smashing I think it deserves a little compliment IMO. Is your motor tired ? Who knows maybe and maybe not but if it’s still running then I wouldn’t worry about it b/c hondas run for a very long time if you take good care of them. So yeah I think your motor is tired Kev. Lol just kiddn bro

Ha damn well better not be. That thing probably hasn’t even broke 60k miles yet

Oh sh** it’s about to explode!! ha ha LMAO, Just pulling your hair dude. Well at that mileage (60k) for a honda it’s still not even broken in yet not till you hit around 90-100k miles b/c they just hold up so well. Yeah maybe you’ll have to replace your t-belt and water pump and the other accessory belt’s on so on at around 60k but that’s something that you have to do because it’s part of a car’s maintenance not b/c it’s getting old or “tired” LoL.

Already replaced the AC belt because I thought it was the one squealing but I think it’s my PS belt. And it probably wouldn’t hurt to do a T belt as well. Also due for an oil change haha

Shit motors get tired my ass! 350k on a B1 LS motor and only reason I got rid of it is because I slacked on the oil cause I was having hard times and it spun a bearing. Full throttle all day everyday! I love Honda’s. Tell them to suck a fart out your ass and choke on it! That is all lol

Yeah, That’s exactly what I’m talking about. These motors can go past 350k and it’s a proven fact, that is one of the reason’s why most of us drive one.

Forgot about this little update. Got this from Greg at Goautoworks about a week ago probably. Better than the little bungie strap i was using before, haha

Is that a motorcycle battery on there lol ?

Haha yeah it is. Works very well. Plus I’d have to relocate my battery to the trunk if I wanted a normal sized one

Dude I like that setup with the tie down. How you have it set up exactly? What parts should I use? I only have a bungee cord holding mine in :frowning:

One motorcycle battery, two of the little tie down things for a battery, whatever tie down you want, and stainless steel washers and nuts for the tie down rod things

Any issues running that battery? What kind is it? Specs on it?

Nah never had any. I’ll have to look at it to check the specs on it

??? My Koni/GC combo was the BEST suspension I have EVER HAD. And I have been through Tein, Skunk 2 Pros, and Progress setups. I would agree that SHITTY sleeve/shock combos suck, but that’s with ANY product. You buy shitty parts, you get shitty results.

4-dr. is looking berry nice tho sir. Love that color.

Eh, the only reason I went with Megan Racing is because I read some pretty good things about them as long as they are paired with a decent shock. After talking to Greg from Goautoworks he said my GR2’s should work just fine, since they are bigger in size than stock

Gr 2’s are stock replacement shocks, the ride might not be that great with coilovers. I would suggest extended top hats if you plan on lowering more then 1.5 inches.

It’s been dropped on Skunk2 springs (2.5" drop) on those since I bought it. Rides fine. I figured what’s another 1/2"? haha. I’ll do extended tophats if it rides to stiff
