It was 10 degres this morning which is pretty damn cold. So i start my car and its running fine. I drive maybe 10 Minutes and i look at the thermostat and its still at C. I’m like “ummm…get hot.” Few mintues later i stop at a red light then turn onto the highway and glance down at it and it was pegged on H. Now i worry. I turn on the heat and its still blowing ice cold but after maybe a minute of being on the highway the needle moves away from H and back to where it usually is(Almost in the middle), and the heat gts nice and hot. The motor didnt change in sound, or lose power, and i didnt smell anything funky. Is it just a bad heater core? :wtf:
Try replacing your thermostat, cheap, semi-easy to replace…worked for me!
