I own a 1990 Integra LS with a swapped B18A with 87,000 on it and I just swapped it the last two weeks and finally got it running last night:rockon: But while I was driving, I noticed when I hit the brakes my temperature gauge rockets to “H” and then when I let off the brakes it returns to normal. Help me on this one…
Also all my lights are dim and it seems like I have a bad ground. When I apply the brakes the clock will completely dim out and same with if I turn on the parking lights. I am going to try and clean the terminals and check see if I forgot to connect a ground but I want to see other possibilities that could cause this.
Thanks for all your help G2IC!

Check the groung between the the motor and the chasis of the car.
Not to sound dumb… well to sound dumb lol, where is the ground from the chassis to the car. I know where the transmission ground is, is that the one? Thanks RX-3
A little update-
Took the car for a spin just now and now when I apply the brakes the temperature gauge goes down to “C”, but when I apply the gas all the lights dim and/or go completely out. What the hell is wrong here?
TIA
Any other suggestions?
RX-3 was right… it was the ground from the battery to the chassis of the car. I just took a look at it. Thanks a lot RX-3.
Glad you got it fixed
