i was car shopping with a friend so of course i got to drive all the cars too. any how we went to look at a 1998 DX civic coupe, automatic. it had 38,000 miles, looked very nice from far away. However this car had many hidden defects. bad new paint job, paint on windows, not stock windows… etc. looking like a driver side accident. any how she drove the car said it was nice… i drove it and noticed a clicking sound on the rear driver side suspension, and a crooked steering wheel. So, i floor the car and it moves okay, thouht it was fast. We ruled out the car completely when we checked the title to be salvaged. anyway i thought the car was fast until i felt my car again… the guy only wanted $6,900 for the car… thought of the day : be very suspicious about good deals.
naw those cars aren’t really my cup of tea unless they are DOHC VTEC… i was going to buy a 99 DX H/B all tricked out but it was SLOW! My VTECless DA romps it (and i am not car poor either with the DA) haha
